A Refreshing Landscape for the Rebuilt Apartment Complex

CHALEUREUX Higashi-Toyonaka is an apartment complex in the north-central Toyonaka City, Osaka Prefecture. This project was to design a landscape for the rebuilding of the aging apartment complex. Under our design concept of a refreshing landscape, we designed a rock garden underneath the rebuilt apartment buildings and the existing dawn redwood trees, one of the key elements of this apartment complex, which became a recreational place of gardening for the residents. We also worked to revive the existing trees in the children's playground that have been trodden on and weakened.
