Green Canopy Covering the Urban Station Area

Nigawa Station on the Hankyu Imazu Line is a busy urban space crowded with commuters and shoppers. It locates in the center of the Nigawa district, known as a quiet residential quarter, the southern part of Takarazuka City. And the west of the station, the area around Mt.Kabuto, is crowded with hikers as a recreational place with nature. Based on such backgrounds, we designed open space with rich and fresh greenery under the theme of a "green canopy" that reminds us of the nature in Mt.Kabuto. Underneath the green canopy, unique and entertaining open spaces are spreading.
