Collaboration with the Distinguished American Landscape Architect

This facility is the Center for Advanced Science and Technology, located in the central part of Harima Science Garden City. The whole city, including this facility, was designed by the Japanese architect Arata Isozaki and the American landscape architect Peter Walker. He drew inspiration for the landscape design from traditional Japanese gardens. In the design development phase, to realize his design faithfully, we as the local landscape architect worked closely with him and decided on materials and construction methods very carefully.
