Report of the 2018 Taichung World Flora Expo
Osamu Kato, the chief director of HEADS Tokyo head office visited the 2018 Taichung World Flora Expo ― a world horticultural expo running from November 3 through April 24, 2019, in Taiwan ― under the guidance of Mr. Shohei Fukui, the advisor of the Expo.
The venue of the Expo was composed of three areas and had three different themes in each area:
"Green" at Waipu Park Area, "Nature" at Houli Horse Ranch, and "People" at Fengyuan's Ruanpizai Creek.
Each area was well-designed by utilizing the locational characteristics.
Especially the Houli Horse Ranch area had plenty of pleasant outdoor spaces for resting, dining, etc by making good use of the existing forest.
We think having such a rich outdoor space is the key to satisfy visitors.
The restroom was unquestionably the best among the many expos we have ever visited.
